Ο Benedict Cumberbatch και ο Tom Hardy, είναι αυτή την στιγμή οι δύο πιο διάσημοι και ταλαντούχοι Βρετανοί ηθοποιοί. Αυτό είναι γνωστό.

Αυτό όμως που δε γνωρίζαμε είνα ι πώς κάποτε είχαν πρωταγωνιστήσει μαζί σε μία συμπαραγωγή του BBC και του HBO, με τίτλο «Stuart: A Life Backwards»

Η τηλεταινία βασίστηκε στο ομώνυμο βιβλίο του συγγραφέα Alexander Masters, που εργαζόταν με άστεγους, και είναι ουσιαστικά η βιογραφία του φίλου του Stuart Clive Shorter, ο οποίος είχε προβλήματα με τον νόμο καθώς και ψυχολογικά προβλήματα.

For me, I was encapsulated by Stuart, a mentally ill, alcoholic, drug-addicted homeless man and through his damaged psyche, it allows for a wonderfully charming and droll sense of humor that showcases why I love Tom Hardy. Being aware of his previous issues, it’s hard to shake the thought he is exorcising some of his own demons, wildly veering between almost daffy humor to bone-chilling rage and menace with such fluidity. Despite all the rage and misery, it never feels like a performance.
