21 Μαρτίου: Παγκόσμια Ημέρα κατά του Ρατσισμού!

21 Μαρτίου σήμερα και γιορτάζουμε την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα κατά του Ρατσισμού !

Ο ρατσισμός είναι ένα έντονο κοινωνικό φαινόμενο που πλήττει τις κοινωνίες των ανθρώπων ενώ δεν είναι λίγα τα περιστατικά που έχουν σημειωθεί και αφορούν ακραία, ρατσιστικά φαινόμενα ενάντια σε ανθρώπους που δεν έφταιξαν ποτέ σε τίποτα και κρίνονται μονάχα από την εμφάνιση τους και την καταγωγή τους!

Ο κάθε άνθρωπος που ζει πάνω στον πλανήτη έχει τα δικαιώματα του και πρέπει να μη δέχεται κανένα είδος διάκρισης! Τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα και οι μη-διακρίσεις είναι οι ακρογωνιαίοι λίθοι στο δίκαιο που αφορά τους ανθρώπους! Σύμφωνα με το άρθρο 1 της Οικουμενικής Διακήρυξης των Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων, όλοι οι άνθρωποι γεννιούνται ελεύθεροι και ίσοι στα δικαιώματα και την αξιοπρέπεια!

Ο ρατσισμός, η ξενοφοβία και η ανοχή σε αυτά τα φαινόμενα παραμένουν ακόμη και σήμερα βασικά ζητήματα της κοινωνίας και συνεχώς παρατηρούνται φαινόμενα διακρίσεων σε πολλά κομμάτια που αφορούν τη ζωή!

Κάθε μέρα μπορούμε να πάμε κόντρα σε αυτά τα φαινόμενα! Να μη δεχόμαστε από κανέναν να συμπεριφέρεται με τον οποιοδήποτε άσχημο τρόπο σε ανθρώπους που μπορεί να μοιάζουν διαφορετικοί επειδή γεννήθηκαν αλλού αλλά ούτε και σε εμάς τους ίδιους! Όλοι είμαστε άνθρωποι και πρέπει να είμαστε ενωμένοι για να κάνουμε τον κόσμο μας πιο όμορφο και δυνατό!

Λίγα λόγια για την ημέρα!

Στις 21 Μαρτίου του 1960, αστυνομικοί άνοιξαν πυρ και πυροβόλησαν 69 άτομα σε μια ειρηνική πορεία στο Sharpeville της Νοτίου Αφρικής, καθώς πραγματοποίησαν διαδήλωση για τους νόμους που εφαρμοζόταν από το απαρτχάιντ – την πολιτική που εφάρμοζαν οι λευκοί άνθρωποι για να διαχωρίζονται από τους υπόλοιπους ανθρώπους- και για αυτό το λόγο η Γενική Συνέλευση των Ηνωμένων Εθνών αποφάσισε το 1966 να θεσπίσει τη συγκεκριμένη ημέρα ως Παγκόσμια Ημέρα κατά του Ρατσισμού!
