This is the famous Cooper’s Hill Cheese Rolling event! ? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Once a year, people from all over the world gather at this steep hill, near Gloucester, to chase after a round of cheese! ? Originally just attended by locals from the village of Brockworth, nobody is quite sure when and why this crazy tradition started, although some believe the cheese chase dates back to the early 19th century! ??‍♀️ The cheese itself is a 4 kilogram round of Double Gloucester, a hard local cheese traditionally made in a circular shape. The cheese is protected with a wooden casting and decorated with ribbons especially for rolling down the hill! ? Ένα από τα πιο παράξενα και αστεία φεστιβάλ που γίνονται στον πλανήτη. Στην Αγγλία, κάθε χρόνο, στον λόφο Cooper, αφήνουν ένα τυρί να κατρακυλήσει. Οι διαγωνιζόμενοι τρέχουν να το προλάβουν. Νικητής, όποιος το πιάσει πρώτος. Βέβαια, θεωρείται και ως ένα από τα πιο επικίνδυνα φεστιβάλ στον κόσμο, με αρκετούς τραυματίες κάθε χρόνο.
