Η γυναικεία ομορφιά σε κάθε χώρα του πλανήτη - Ένα μοναδικό φωτογραφικό project!

«Είμαι μία 30χρονη φωτογράφος από το Βουκουρέστι της Ρουμανίας, όμως έχω περάσει τα 3 τελευταία χρόνια της ζωής μου ταξιδεύοντας σε διαφορετικές χώρες. Ο πατέρας μου είναι ζωγράφος κι έτσι από τα παιδικά μου χρόνια είχα πάντα γύρω μου χρώματα. Όταν έγινα 16 ανακάλυψα τον κόσμο της φωτογραφίας. Δυστυχώς δεν μπορούσα να ζήσω μόνο από αυτό, οπότε αναγκάστηκα να εργαστώ σε άλλους τομείς ώστε να έχω ένα καλό εισόδημα.

Οι περιπλανήσεις μου και τα ταξίδια μου σε διαφορετικά μέρη του κόσμου στις περιόδους των διακοπών μου με έκαναν να ανακαλύψω τη διαφορετικότητα και την ποικιλομορφία που υπάρχει στον πλανήτη μας. Έτσι στα 27 μου αποφάσισα να αφήσω πίσω μου την απλή καθημερινή ζωή μου στο Βουκουρέστι και να αποθέσω όλη μου την προσπάθεια και τις οικονομίες στα ταξίδια και τη φωτογραφία», αφηγείται η Μιχαέλα Νορόκ στο site του “The Atlas of Beauty project”.”

Αυτό είναι το “The Atlas of Beauty project”. Σκοπός του είναι να αναδείξει τα διαφορετικά είδη ομορφιάς που κρύβονται σε κάθε γωνιά του κόσμου.

Δημιουργός του project είναι η Μιχαέλα Νορόκ, η οποία έχει καταφέρει μέσα σε τρια χρόνια να γίνει ιδιαίτερα δημοφιλής ανά τον κόσμο, μαζεύοντας χιλιάδες ακόλουθους στα social media ενώ ταυτόχρονα, δέχεται και αρκετές δωρεές για να συνεχίσει το έργο της.

Dania is from Amman, Jordan. She’s a trainer in the first self-defense studio for women in the Middle East. “Before I was really, really shy. In school nobody knew my name, not even my teachers. I was so timid I couldn’t even stand up in class and answer a question, even if I knew the answer very well. But Martial Arts changed my life. Now I’m doing workshops and I’m giving classes of self-defense. I don’t think I will have to use my skills outside trainings. People see that I’m confident, they feel I’m capable to defend myself.” When I entered in SheFighter studio a few months ago, I discovered an amazing initiative and a splendid sisterhood between women from different environments. Malika is from Milan, Italy. She was born from an Italian mother and a Moroccan father. She lives in a city which is famous for fashion. With her features and height she could easily be a successful model. “Many people from fashion industry tried to convince me to become a model. But I have other passions. I was never into fashion. I’m actually in love with hiking. When I was 8, I entered in a Scouting group and I started to explore the nature. I often go to the mountains. I hike there alone and I don’t see any human being for days. I always do that when I feel stressed and tired.” Malika is not scared at all to be alone in the wilderness because she learned everything about exploring the nature since her childhood. “I live in a rough neighbourhood of Milan and sometimes it’s a bit dangerous for a woman there. I took this photo last year in the Wakhan Corridor, Afghanistan. She was working in the field in one of the most remote places of the world, a place where nature and people are beautiful but life is so harsh. The terrible conflicts that dominated Afghanistan for the past 40 years never reached her village but were always very close, taking from her any chance to have a better life. These days I’m in Iraqi Kurdistan, another amazing place of our planet with beautiful people that suffered so much because of the wars. Koleka is a performance poet from South Africa. She was born in a family of 8 siblings in Port Elizabeth and now lives in Cape Town where I met her 5 months ago. In a time when the success is mostly synonym with lots of money or huge popularity, it’s great to see that there are still so many wonderful people around the world that dedicate their life to art, although their path is full of struggles and challenges. Besides the time when she recites her poems on a stage, some of the happiest moments in Koleka’s life are her birthdays. She thinks we should appreciate each year of our lives because getting older is a privilege, not something to take for granted. I was immediately impressed by Vivi’s joy and kindness when I met her, 3 months ago. Her biggest dream is to become an excellent elementary school teacher. For this young woman from Megara, Greece, the most amazing thing is to work with children. Almost every day she goes from her home to Athens, where she studies pedagogy. Although she has to wake up at 5am, because the trip takes almost 2 hours, she is enthusiast about each day of her life. She already gives some courses, as part of her studies, and it was a real joy for me to see her in a classroom, surrounded by kids. These days I’m in Berlin, Germany. Every Sunday afternoon, from spring to early autumn, thousands of people gather in Mauerpark to attend a famous Karaoke show where anybody can sing. Anais, who is in love with music, was in the park last Sunday, wearing a beautiful African outfit. Born in France from a Malian mother and a French father, she moved to Berlin a few years ago. When she’s in Mali, people say she’s white. When she’s in France, people say she’s black. Even on the rainy days, most of the people of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, prefer to walk or use a bicycle, rather than a car. Emilia stopped for a few minutes and told me about the happiest moment of her life. She was recently chosen for an important part in an opera. To step on the stage of Royal Swedish Opera, at only 20 years old, as a soprano, was an incredible experience for her. Being surrounded by famous opera singers and having her family in the audience made her prouder than ever.
