SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Social Media Manager works closely with the Creative Design & Client Management teams, in order to build a relationship of trust with the company’s customers (existing & potential) for any social media related service we provide. It is a strategic role, where the goal is to create reliable relationships with customers through regular communication, strategic & consulting directions and at the same time to bring the desired results in growth (revenue) for the benefit of the company and innovative solutions for the benefit of its customers through a broader framework of high-level customer service.
What you will have to do as a Social Media Manager:
- Be the key-contact between client and agency – understand clients’ needs and propose effective business and comms solutions
- Hands-on involvement on Social Media management (day-to day operation, content update, community management etc.)
- Creation of content according to client’s needs
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos and news)
- Prepare reports on account status & social media performance
- Create presentations for new and existing clients
- Assist with client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Monitor & analyze competition
- Seek trends and understand the industry landscape
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Design and implement social media strategies to align with business goals
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI
WORKING HOURS
- Full-time employment, Monday to Friday
- Hybrid model with flexible options
- Working hours are typically 8 hours a day
- Extra hours are likely when deadlines are approaching
REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager (minimum 2 years), gained within a top-tier agency
- Passionate in digital marketing & social media
- Excellent knowledge of all social media networks (facebook, instagram, tik-tok, linkedin, pinterest, snapchat etc.)
- Curious about all latests trends, technologies and innovations in the social media ecosystem
- Ability to project manage and work within specific deadlines
- Ability to harmonically work in a team of professionals
- Fluency in English; written & spoken
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent copywriting skills both in Greek & English
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Excellent use of computers, tablets and smartphones (Windows, iOS and Android environments)
- Excellent use of email clients (Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, Windows Mail etc.) and Microsoft Office platform (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Positive energy, passion for creativity and a big smile on your face
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field, will be considered a plus.

WORK EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 2 years previous experience, within a top-tier agency, is necessary.
