DETURBO company was established in 2017 in Hamburg, Germany and since 2019 has extended its presence in Piraeus, Greece. DETURBO offers overhauling and repair services for all Turbocharger types and reconditioning of engine and turbocharger parts.

We are currently looking for a capable Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to our machining workshop.

Job Tasks:

• Perform repairs or routine maintenance jobs and identify technical problems and be able to analyse them remotely or in-situ.
• Plan all equipment, tools, and spare parts that must be available and ensure their appropriate quality before service attendances.
• Prepare all appropriate documentation and reports that must be acknowledged by the customer after the completion of any service task. All reporting work must be delivered in a timely manner.
• Any possible equipment failure must be identified promptly, and all corrective actions must be taken without delay. Possible suggestions must be presented to the management to avoid the problem in the future as well as improvements in quality and customer service.
• Good knowledge of the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices and make every effort to eliminate unsafe practices and report any incidents. Able to work according to the safety rules.
• Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as service engineer with turbochargers or 4 and 2 stroke diesel engines.
• A degree in engineering is preferred but is not a prerequisite.
• Communicate, read, and write in English language.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Available to travel at short notice.
• Report writing skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Basic PC use knowledge
• Stress-resistant and flexible team player with good communication skills.
• Solution-oriented and service-oriented.
